January 6th was a great day as we celebrated with our current students all afternoon and early evening and then invited our Adlib Alumni to drop by for a catch up. Our students had a fun time dancing to their favourites hits and playing some team games, when we played their recent show tracks, they immediately went into dance mode and recreated their routines from the Christmas show!
To meet up with former students later on this day was amazing, we had lawyers, paramedics, HR managers teachers and performers (Nicky and I felt very old especially as some of them started when they were five years old and now they are out working!) and it was so lovely to find out what has been happening in their lives since they left Theatrics. So many thanked us for enabling them to be confident standing up in front of people and this truly made us realise that we had made an important contribution to their personal development. Long may it continue!
