With over twenty years experience in show business as professional entertainers, Principals Adam and Nicky Wright have travelled the world performing their musical speciality act in theatres on land and at sea. They have also both appeared in various television and theatre productions. Adam continues to work in professional Entertainment at sea with prestigious Cruise Line Silversea. Originally trained at the Italia Conti Stage School in London, Adam and Nicky, now based in Lichfield, established Theatrics Stage School in 2003, a wonderful concept in performing arts training which is fun but engages the interest of young performers.
British Theatre Dance Association
Theatrics is proud to be a member of the B.T.D.A. recognised by the council for dance education and training registration board.
Each year a student spends at Theatrics is celebrated with a special achievement medal or Trophy, to reward their hard work dedication, and progress.
At the end of the Summer term every student (in the 7 – 14 age range) is invited to nominate a classmate for an Oscar trophy, based on a variety of criteria: hard work, improvement, a particular performance or general teamwork during class. The student with the most votes wins the Oscar prize for their class.
The teachers and principals also select a ‘Student of the Year’ from across the whole school, who will receive an award for their attitude & commitment, class work and development (in all three performance disciplines), plus their teamwork and ability to interact with fellow students.
